An interactive type tool, which uses sound to produce type allowing for a range of the movement, colours, size, scale, and letterforms of the type.

BACKGROUND
This project is part of the an academic workshop titled 'Generative Type: Type + Code' in which I explored typography as an output produced by algorithms, data, and movement.
Moving away from the traditional way of type making to explore how different kind of inputs could generate type.
PROTOTYPE
The tool enables the user can experiment with different types of sound input in order to produce new visual outputs. The prototype contains a few sample sound that have been tested to produce contrasting visual outputs in a single play demonstrating the possibility of movement produced.
